To qualify for this credit, your ground source heat pump system must meet Energy Star criteria.


When choosing a heat pump, reliability is an important consideration. You should also check the manufacturer’s noise level specifications. Some manufacturers publish the levels on their websites or in user manuals. They use various factors, including fan speed and outdoor temperature, to determine how loud their products are.
